Match-winning knock by Babar

ISLAMABAD, July 18: An unbeaten 78 by Babar Hussain helped Bajwa Public Rawalpindi inflict an 80-run defeat on Govt Jamia Sialkot in the PCB Inter-region schools championship at the Diamond Cricket ground on Monday. Bajwa Public, who batted first in the match reduced to 20-overs-a-side because of overnight rain, scored 181 for two in their allotted overs. Tanveer Afzal (45) and Kashif Sharif (37) were among their main run-getters.

In reply, the Sialkot school managed 101 for six in their quota of overs, Hafiz Usman topscoring with 22. Hasnain Yaqub and Muhammad Saeed shared four wickets.
