QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani has said that the system in society can’t be sustained without even-handed accountability and good governance, adding that he and Prime Minister Imran Khan have common vision of development in the country, especially in Balochistan.

He shared these views on social media after a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday in Islamabad.

“No system or mechanism can sustain itself if it’s not made accountable, transparent, better governed and out of corruption.” CM Alyani tweeted.

He added that “Prime Minister Imran Khan and I have common vision and joint thoughts for the betterment of our society with transparency and good governance”.

The Alyani-led provincial government has been under severe criticism by opposition parties who claimed that 80 per cent of provincial budget had lapsed due to incompetence of the government.

The allegations were denied by the chief minister and his cabinet.
