WB official hails education project launched in Balochistan

QUETTA: Yuan Haren, a representative of the World Bank, has appreciated the Balochistan Education Project and termed it a gateway to investment in the provincial education sector.
Addressing a gathering here on Friday, he said the World Bank had extended assistance for strengthening educational structure in the province.
Mr Haren said that the provincial government and officials of the Balochistan Education Project were making all-out efforts to achieve the project goals.
“The World Bank would give a grant for educational development in the province,” he said.

Salute to our proactive CM Baluchistan. We are proud of you sir, to have pinpointed the most vital problem the poor & neglected provinces is faced with. For sure under your leadership the present literacy rate of 17.5% in males & 7.5% in females, against national average of 58.5% will change for the better. Please look after those 2.3 million children belonging to poor families, enabling them to get basic education. This is a right & most praiseworthy step taken towards development of Human Resources of Baluchistan, which remained neglected in the past for obvious reasons.
Additionally your kind attention is required.to provide drinking water & toilet facilities to existing 9200 school spread over the province, by using reverse osmosis pumps running on solar energy. We hope that the next generation after getting education will join the mainstream educated ones & contribute positively towards the progress & prosperity of this backward province. We wish you success in your endeavors.
