WB official hails education project launched in Balochistan

QUETTA: Yuan Haren, a representative of the World Bank, has appreciated the Bal­ochistan Education Proj­ect and termed it a gateway to investment in the provincial education sector.

Addressing a gathering here on Friday, he said the World Bank had extended assistance for strengthening educational structure in the province.

Mr Haren said that the provincial government and officials of the Balochistan Education Project were making all-out efforts to achieve the project goals.

“The World Bank would give a grant for educational development in the province,” he said.
