A Lahore family court on Friday ordered the arrest of stage actor Tariq 'Daddy' for not paying child support after being ordered by the court to do so.

Hearing a petition filled by Daddy's ex wife, the court had earlier asked the actor to appear in court.

After he failed to do so in today's hearing, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for his arrest.

Daddy's ex wife had said in the petition that he fad failed to pay child support to her despite court's orders to do so. She further said that she was unable to take care of her children's financial needs alone.

The court subsequently ordered that Daddy be arrested and presented in court for the next hearing of the case on June 13.
