PTV earned Rs500m last year

ISLAMABAD, July 14: Pakistan Television (PTV) earned a profit of Rs500 million last year, said PTV Managing Director Arshad Khan. He was speaking at a reception held in his honour by PTV employees in the Chaghi Auditorium of PTV headquarters here on Thursday. Mr Khan announced two bonuses for the employees saying they had the first right on the profit. “We will also be spending a significant amount on the welfare of the employees,” he added.

Mr Khan specifically stressed on the changes in the marketing of PTV programmes.
