SKARDU is one of the most beautiful valleys of Pakistan. It is one of the largest constituencies in Gilgit-Balitistan. It is important for the locals as it has one of the only airports in the region.

As a tourist spot, Skardu has amazing picnic spots and gorgeous sights to relax. The land here is also quite fertile. There are different kinds of crops and fruits grow here.

The best part about this area is the fact that there are forests and a cold desert in the same space.

Despite all this beauty and natural resources, there is something missing. For example, there is lack of health and educational facilities. There are more than 200,000 children who need to be in college but there are no colleges in the area.

Another issue is electricity. The valley plunges into dark by evening. I request the authorities concerned to help us out.
