Ice creams are the most sought-after food in summer. But you can’t keep running to the shops to buy one, so here is a very simple recipe of an ice cream that has two basic ingredients and you can add whatever else you want to give it different flavours. I used chocolate chips biscuits and chips.

Ingredients

• 2 packets/cups cream, very cold

• 1 can sweetened condensed milk

• 6-8 chocolate chips biscuits

• 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Method

Pour cream in a clean bowl and whip it with an electric beater for a few minutes until it becomes stiff or fluffy and double in size. Use very chilled cream.

Add the condensed milk and beat for just a minute or so to mix the two together. Please ask an adult to open the can for you as it has sharp ends and you can cut your hands.

Now crush or break the chocolate chip biscuits into small chunks, do not turn it into powder or crumbs. Add this and the chocolate chips into the mixture and use a specula to lightly combine everything.

Now pour it into any container, I used a bread pan. You can use any plastic container with a lid too as we need to keep the mixture airtight when freezing.

Now to make this pan airtight, I covered it with aluminium foil, you can use plastic cling wraps too.

Freeze it for at least 8-10 hours or overnight, depending on your refrigerator temperature. You can have it just as it is or with some grated chocolate and more chocolate chips on top.
