By profession and party allegiance, the Member for Post-War Reconstruction is ideologically identified with the gold-diggers of Bombay. The Finance Minister can only think in terms of Big Business … The signatories of the Bombay Plan blending the profit-motive with patriotism seem to have elected to sink or swim with the Government and form this liaison of Indian Nationalism and British Imperialism that is to be born the post-war world, possessing the vices of both and the virtues of none.
