Emergency plan for floods

LAHORE, July 13: An emergency plan for the supply of foodstuffs and other commodities to the people in case of floods was finalized at a meeting held here on Wednesday. Owners of big stores attended the meeting held with district flood relief officer Malik Muhammad Bakhsh in the chair and assured him of their cooperation in ensuring continuous supply of commodities in case of floods.

The officer also inspected the flood relief centres in Aziz Bhatti Town and Baghbanpura and described the arrangements satisfactory. — Reporter
