‘Nawaz may undergo heart surgery’

LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif may undergo a heart surgery if his angioplasty is not possible, said his personal physician Dr Adnan Khan.

Mr Sharif was examined on Monday by the doctors of Aga Khan University at the Sharif Medical City here. They held a detailed consultation and evaluation of Mr Sharif.

After the examination, Dr Khan told reporters that Mr Sharif might undergo a heart surgery if his angioplasty was not possible. He said the former premier had serious heart complications.

“Aga Khan University @AKUGlobal very kindly constituted a high powered team of specialists/experts consisting of Cardiac Interventionist, Vascular Surgeon & Urologist/Nephrologist. They had a detailed consultation & evaluation of former PM #NawazSharif for further management,” Dr Khan later tweeted.

Sharif’s daughter Maryam also tweeted about the health of her father: “Today MNS (Mian Nawaz Sharif) was examined by a team of Aga Khan specialists that included cardiac interventionist, vascular surgeon, urologist & nephrologist who also reviewed his recent investigations & scans. Reports are being compiled. His problems are serious & the drs are concerned.”

where was this Sharif medical city before the bail ?? he was dying according to his daughter but since bail he hasn't been given any treatment...all this was to get bail and get some time to chalk out an escape some how !

Is PM Imran responsible for Nawaz heart surgery? Certainly not because Nawaz has past history of health complications on different counts which has nothing to do with PM Imran whatsoever. Heart surgery is too very common now so nothing to worry about. Undoubtedly the process will be executed through state-of-the-art under the best possible doctors one can think of and inshallah Nawaz will turn healthier after heart surgery. Since coming out on bail, NS has been examined almost on a daily basis. After every examination, his personal physician keeps on saying that his condition is serious. If it is, why are they not doing anything about it?

I keep on reading that Nawaz is corrupt and he has looted money, this might be true or is it just a perception? In other countries the way corruption cases are established are as follows: The investigating agency compiles a list of assets and the persons known sources of income, if it is established that the person has more assets than his/her known source of income than the person is asked for the proofs failing which the person is considered guilty and is punished. I doubt if NAB has done all that, if it would have done all this, the guilty would have been punished and there would have been no possibility of the verdict being challenged in any court of law.

In my view, various options are being pursued for Nawaz Sharif, so that he can go London on medical grounds. If this is granted then he wouldn't come back nor any looted money will be returned. And, after few years, all political drama will start again same as before in 1990's. When will these dramas be dispelled once for all and looted money be recovered from Nawaz Sharif, Shabaz Sharif, Asif Zardari and their family members? (Gharib Awam ki Awaz).

All the characters in PPP and PML-N, who have have been charged by the courts, immediately get sick, taken to hospitals for clicking some photographs on the hospital bed. Then they apply for bail on health grounds, when bail is granted, they are seen busy with their routine lives. Same thing happened with Hanif Abbasi.
