PIA denies off-loading 4 Kuwaitis

Published January 13, 2002

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 12: The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Saturday denied preventing four Kuwaitis from travelling to Lahore and termed the report carried by some newspapers as “baseless”.

The PIA’s country manager Khalid Latif, after checking and confirming with PIA officials, told Dawn that no such incident took place at Kuwait International Airport.

A few days back, an Arabic daily Al Anba reported that PIA officials at Kuwait International Airport had stopped four Kuwaitis from travelling to Lahore aboard a flight PK-206, as they did not have entry visas for Pakistan.
