SAHIWAL, July 11: A constable was injured on Monday when villagers pelted stones at a police party which was looking for a proclaimed offender at Chak 55/GD. Reports said the police party headed by Sub-Inspector Zahoor Ahmed raided the village to arrest a proclaimed offender, Mokha. Meanwhile, Muhammad Yaseen, along with 14 other people started pelting stones and bricks at the party, injuring a constable, Nasrullah. The other policemen ran away to save themselves.

Noorshah police registered the case under section 353, 186, 337, 148 and 149 of the PPC with no arrest so far. The injured was admitted into a hospital.
