LAHORE, July 11: Wapda on Monday launched an incentive package for industries and allowed them to re-avail instalment facility after paying 50 per cent of their arrears. According to the package, the industries, whose connections have been severed for non-payment, could re-avail the instalment facility after paying 50 per cent of their arrears. The rest of 50 per cent would now be recovered in three instalments.

However, the billing during the rest of instalments period would be done fortnightly to avoid accumulation. In case of default, connection would be severed without any notice required under the normal procedure. The package will be available till Dec 31, 2005. — Staff Reporter
