Fahim steers Zone-II home

KARACHI, July 8: A fine half century by opener Muhammad Fahim (53) helped Zone II beat Zone III by four wickets in the PCB under-19 match played at TMC ground on Friday.

Having dismissed Zone-II for 152 in 65.1 over, Zone-III achieved the target for the loss of six wickets in 44.4 overs.

Only three batsmen, Ramiz Raja (40), Shan Masood (15) and tailender Shakaib Ahmed (16 not out) managed to reach double figures for Zone-III. Shamir Khattak (3-30) and Athar Hussain (4-32) did the damage for the winners.
