CBRG Warriors lift NBP President Cup

KARACHI: CBRG Warriors beat Logistic Lions by 38 runs to win the NBP President T20 Cup here on Sunday.
Batting first after winning the toss, the CBRG Warriors scored 169-8 in the allotted overs with Saqib Zar scoring a whirlwind 46 while Irfan Pathan blasted two sixes and six fours in his 36. Shahid Mushtaq captured 3-15 while Azhar Iqbal bagged 2-22.
In reply, the Logistic Lions could manage only 131-9 with Ahmed Ali scoring a fluent 37 and Shuja Ahmed scoring a breezy 25.Danish Nisar and Qasim Raza bagged two wickets each.
