FAISALABAD, July 6: Tandlianwala police registered a case against seven people and arrested four of them for with counterfeit currency on Wednesday. Police said they raided the houses of the alleged criminals in Chaks 422, 423 and 428 on a tip and arrested Abdul Qayyum, Sajid, Abid and Ata Muhammad. Raids were being conducted for the arrest of the remaining criminals.

QUACKS HELD: A health department team arrested four quacks on Wednesday.

The team arrested Maqbool Husain, Rasheed, Shafiq and Irshad Husain from different villages.

IMPERSONATOR: A Tehsil Municipal Administration (city) team caught an impersonator when he was collecting fee from donkey-cart and tonga owners for vehicle inspection.

Nazar Iqbal was collecting fee near Rafeel Hospital Chowk when the TMA team raided there. He tried to run away on seeing the TMA officials but the team overpowered him and handed him over to police.
