COMPETENT youth possessing higher degrees have been serving on minor posts in various federal and provincial government departments in Quetta.

There are hundreds of aspirants with busy office hours striving for competitive examinations. They study for competitive examinations every year.

But, unfortunately, from the start of the preparation to the examination day, their bosses do not help.

I, being a federal government servant, have experienced this in my three-year service. I am not satisfied with my current job and want to prepare for competitive examinations.

In order to meet my goal, I many times applied for earned and study leave but my application was rejected every time.

Hundreds of aspirants in Quetta wish to be a part of prestigious civil services, but unluckily everyone is served with a big ‘no’.

Our country will be prosperous and developed if our competent youth is encouraged and allowed to work. Isn’t it prejudice? Isn’t a non-gazetted servant suitable for civil services?
