Mazhar-Shoaib claim pairs title

KARACHI, July 2: Competing from the East-West direction, the seasoned pair of Mazhar Ali Khan and Shoaib Khan put up impressive performance and added the weekend Bridge title on Friday with a score of 61.97%.

Adnan Dada-Tabrez Javed finished runners-up from the same direction with a score of 57.15%. Azmatullah-Afzal Ansari scored 55.19% for the third position.

From the other direction, Ghulam Muhammad-Raees Ahmed scored 68.90%. for the prime position edging out their nearest rivals Siddiq Essa-Kader Sakaria 58.13%.

Siddiq Essa-Kader Sakaria finished second narrowly missing the top by a whisker.

Asghar Naqvi-Naseer Ahmed finished third with a score of 56.36% with three tops and two above average scores.
