KARACHI, July 2: Fine batting by Hassan Raza, Waqas Haroon and Hafiz Asad and a destructive spell of bowling by Shamir Khattak guided their respective teams to victories in the two-day PCB Under-19 Karachi region Inter-district cricket championship Karachi Region on Saturday.

At Student Ground, KCCA Zone-VI defeated Zone-III by six wickets thanks to an unbeaten 94 by Hassan Raza, who blasted 10 fours and 70 by Waqas Haroon, who struck 13 boundaries.

Hafiz Asad smashed an undefeated 78 with nine boundaries to steer Zone-I to an easy seven wicket success over Zone-V at Landhi Gymkhana Ground.

Off-spinner Shahmir Khattak grabbed six wickets for 38 runs to spin Zone-II to 136-run win over Zone-VII at Asifabad Ground.
