KARACHI, July 2: Trade and industry has resented increase in POL prices, and said it would enhance cost of production and make Pakistani product uncompetitive in the world market.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) chairman Khawaja M Yousuf expressed his deep concern over repeated increase in the prices of petrol, petroleum products and gas and termed it as mini budget.
Towel Manufacturers’ Association of Pakistan (TMA) chairman Syed Usman Ali said that since diesel oil and gas are basic inputs in all industrial processes, it would make products uncompetitive in the world market.
