Temur scores quartet in Zameen Polo Cup

LAHORE: Master Paints Black and Barry’s notched up thumping victories on the opening day of the Zameen Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club ground on Tuesday.

In the first match of the day, Master Paints Black outsmarted Total Nutrition 10-5.

Raja Temur Nadeem scored a quartet for the winners while Jami Li Hardi hammered a hat-trick and Ahmed Ali Tiwana banged in a brace.

In the second match of the day, Barry’s thrashed Olympia/Momin Ghee 11-3. From the winning side, George Meyrick, Raja Samiullah and Raja Mikael Sami scored hat-tricks while Nafees Barry contributed two goals.

Guard Group/Master Paints will take on Total Nutrition today at 2:00pm while Diamond Paints/New­age will vie against Olympia/Momin Ghee in the second encounter at 3:00pm.
