Army overwhelm Punjab, Sindh

ISLAMABAD, June 30: Defending champions Pakistan Army trounced Punjab 15-0 and Sindh 7-0 while two other matches also featured on the opening day of the three-day 6th National Water Polo championship at the Pakistan Sports Complex on Thursday.

Seven teams Punjab, Sindh, Wapda, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the three services are taking part in the championship

In other matches Punjab got the better of HEC 6-4 while Pakistan Navy crushed Pakistan Air Force 13-2.—APP
