HYDERABAD, June 28: The Amri police released PPP MPA Zahid Ali Bhurgari here on Tuesday after police found no evidence to link him with a bomb blast case, lodged on June 13 following two explosions which hit Wapda transmission lines.

Earlier, the Amri police obtained permission from the court to release the MPA under section 497 Cr.PC as the court on Monday extended the MPA’s remand in police custody for seven days.

PPP activists brought him to his home in a rally.
