I RECENTLY finished reading The Charismatic Leader: Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and the Creation of Pakistan by Dr Sikandar Hayat.
I was left wondering why Jinnah’s charismatic qualities of integrity, honesty, loyalty, and community spirit died with him. One prays that Pakistanis in private and professional spheres emulate Jinnah’s values, and hold each other accountable while striving to realise the dreams that he had for Pakistan.
The author convinces the reader that it was no coincidence or fate that led to the creation of Pakistan, but Jinnah’s tireless leadership.
