LAHORE: Film director Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy says the third and last sequel of animated movie for children, 3 Bahadur: Rise of the Warriors, has more charm, action and twist.

Talking to the media about her film here on Tuesday, she said the film, being released nationwide on Dec 14, was packed with surprises.

“It has the voices by the artistes like Mehwish Hayat, Fahad Mustafa, Sarwat Gillani, Nimra Bucha, Behroze Sabzwari.”

Mentioning salient features of upcoming sequel of 3 Bahadur, Ms Chinoy said all important monuments of the country had been shown in the film for knowledge of the young generation and its special effects had not been seen before. She regretted that nothing was being produced for Pakistani children whereas it was an important subject.

To a question about the themes of her upcoming animated movies, Ms Chinoy said that upcoming movies would touch folklore, heritage and animals. “We should produce animated movies for children so that they could well understand their language, literature, values and traditions,” she added.
