LAHORE: Lahore Metro Bus operation remained suspended on Thursday after dozens of visually impaired persons staged a sit-in at Kalma Chowk for the job quota.

They blocked the track, protesting against the government for not announcing job quota for them. They also demanded regularisation of their jobs.

They said the government was not honouring the commitments it made to them during their previous protests.

Following the protest, the Punjab Mass Transit Authority stopped the bus operation which caused a great deal of inconvenience to the commuters.
