Priorities in NWA

Published December 2, 2018

I HOPE Prime Minister Imran Khan will ignite hope and confidence in the people of North Waziristan Agency.

During the elections he won the hearts of our people but I would like to see how he is going to move forward and execute the projects and plans he promised.

The people of NWA have been suffering for long. The bloodshed and wars in their area have only made them yearn for knowledge, education and jobs even more.

They yearn for connectivity with the rest of the world and want their locality to develop. This is only possible through education.

The government should establish medical and cadet colleges, universities and technical schools here to help rehabilitate the youth. It is the need of the hour.

The various NWA tribes have made countless sacrifices in the war on terror to save the nation. The government should provide free and quality education to the tribes as reward.

According to the constitution (Article 25-A), the government should acknowledge the role of female participation in national affairs and announce sound packages for them to acquire opportunities to play a constructive role in nation building.
