Deputy chief for NAB soon

ISLAMABAD, June 23: President Gen Pervez Musharraf is likely to appoint deputy chairman of the National Accountability Bureau soon, Dawn learnt on Thursday. According to the NAB Ordinance, the post has existed in the bureau since its establishment in 1999, but it has remained vacant. The president holds the discretionary power make appointment to the grade-21 post.—Bureau Report
