LAHORE: Governor Chaudhry Sarwar is reported to have dissolved the Aitchison College Board of Governors (BoGs).

According to some media reports, the governor has dissolved the board primarily to send home the members nominated by the previous Shahbaz administration. Some of the members included former minister Ayesha Ghaus-Pasha, Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Dr Umar Saif and Khwaja Ahmed Hassaan.

A spokesperson for the Governor House told Dawn that he had also seen reports on TV channels about the dissolution of the board.
