PESHAWAR: In a massive reshuffle in the provincial bureaucracy, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Friday transferred 63 officers, including over 10 administrative secretaries and managing directors.

A notification issued by the establishment department said that secretary finance merged areas secretariat Syed Kamran Shah (PCS BS-21) had been transferred and posted as secretary agriculture department, relieving the principal secretary to chief minister of the additional charge.

Secretary mineral development department Syed Alamgir Shah (PCS BS-20) has been transferred and posted as secretary provincial ombudsman secretariat, relieving director general ombudsman office of the additional charge; secretary Public Service Commission Javed Anwar (PCS BS-20) directed to report to establishment department; and Fata Development Authority (FDA) general manager planning Aziz Khan Khattak transferred and posted as member provincial inspection team against vacant post.

Khayyam Hassan Khan, awaiting posting at the establishment department, has been posted as secretary Benevolent Fund Cell at the administration department; Dr Mohammad Ajmal, awaiting posting, posted as secretary elementary and primary education; and Syed Mohammad Shah, awaiting posting, posted as managing director Lilssail-e-Wal-Mahroom Foundation.

Administrative secretaries, managing directors among 63 officers transferred

Secretary Public Health Engineering Department Masood Ahmed has been transferred and posted as secretary housing department; Mukhtiar Ahmed, secretary elementary and secondary education department, transferred and posted as director Staff Training Institute (STI); and MD Lissail Wal Mahroom Foundation Ajmal Khan transferred and posted as member Board of Revenue, KP.

Sarfaraz Durrani, awaiting posting at the administration department, has been posted as secretary Planning and Development Department, reliving commissioner, Peshawar division, of the additional charge; Kaneez Sughra, secretary benevolent fund cell, transferred and posted as director general PERRA; and Fareeha Paul, awaiting posting, posted as secretary Public Service Commission.

Mohammad Ramzan, awaiting posting at the establishment department, has been posted as managing director Fata Education Foundation; Khaista Rehman, director STI, transferred and posted as secretary mineral development department; Humayun Khan, awaiting posting in establishment department, posted as secretary finance merged areas secretariat; and chief engineer Behramand Khan posted as secretary Public Health Engineering Department on deputation.

Shahidullah, awaiting posting, has been posted as project director IMU at the elementary and primary education department; and director general KP Food Safety and Halal Food Authority Riaz Mehsud transferred and posted as secretary excise and taxation department, KP. Mr Mehsud will continue to hold additional charge of DG food authority till further orders.

Ghulam Habib, awaiting posting, has been posted as secretary FDA; Khalid Ilyas, awaiting posting, posted as DG projects merged areas; DG PERRA Shahab Hamid Yousafzai transferred and posted as additional commissioner, Bannu; and Inayatullah Wasim, awaiting posting at the establishment department, has been posted as executive director Urban Policy Unit against vacant post.

Additional secretary higher education department Zaariful Maani has been transferred and posted as special secretary environment department; Zulfiqar Ali Shah, awaiting posting, posted as GM planning FDA; and Barkatullah Khan, additional secretary Relief, Rehabilitation and Settlement Department, transferred and posted as deputy commissioner Dera Ismail Khan.

Fahim Khan Afridi, DMO at the IMU project, has been posted as DC Torghar and Tashfeen Haider posted as secretary Board of Revenue, KP.
