LAHORE, June 21: River Kabul is in medium flood at Nowshera and Indus River is in low flood at Kalabagh while all other rivers are flowing below low flood level at all points.

According to a report of Flood Forecasting Division, a seasonal low lies over south-eastern Iran. Yesterday’s monsoon low south of Gujrat Kathiawar continues to persist and the westerly wave over Kashmir has moved away north eastward.

This weather pattern is likely to cause light rain with one or two moderate falls at a few places over Sindh. Isolated light rain is expected over Kashmir along with Bahawalpur division while light rain may also occur at one or two places over the northern and north-eastern Punjab and over coastal areas of Balochistan.

Meanwhile, isolated rain of light intensity was reported over upper catchment of river Jhelum during last 24 hours.—-APP
