RAWALPINDI: Motorcyclists without helmets will not be allowed to fill their tanks with petrol in the garrison city.

According to a circular issued by the district administration, all petrol filling stations have been barred from selling fuel to motorcyclists without helmets.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) General Maleha Jamal said motorcyclists not wearing helmets would also not be allowed to ply on The Mall and Peshawar Road from December 1.

Petrol filling stations would also install banners, informing motorcyclists of the ban.
