Food poisoning

Published November 18, 2018

A RESTAURANT in Karachi was sealed after two children died after having dinner there. The authorities raided the eatery only to learn that they were using expired meat.

While the food authority is being blamed for not having a strong enough check on restaurants in the province, it is disappointing to see that the owners have no shame in feeding customers sub-standard, and in this case, expired food.

This is not happening at just one restaurant, but all over the country.

These people have no qualms while cooking and selling low-quality food products at high prices. Why do we need authorities to keep an eye on us to serve such a basic thing as food to fellow humans? Where is our fear of God?
