PAF jet drops fuel tanks

SHEIKHUPURA, Jan 10: A Pakistan Air Force jet reportedly dropped two fuel tanks which fell on different places near Sangla Hill, some 70 kilometres from here, on Thursday afternoon.

According to information available here, the PAF jet took off from Hafizabad on routine flight.

Fuel tanks were dropped in the fields near Marrh 42 and Chak 36 Baroay near Sangla Hill. However, no casuality and loss to property was reported.

Villagers became frightened and reported the matter to the Sangla Saddar police.

KILLED: A man and his nephew were knocked down and killed on Thursday by a speeding tractor-trolley on the Mirza Virkan Road near Dera Baghwala.

Shahbaz and Sultan (14) were standing along the roadside when the incident occurred. Both of them died instantly. The driver managed to escape from the scene.
