KARACHI, June 16: The Karachi Club tennis championship will go into action at KC courts with main rounds starting from Monday. The entry for the richest-ever tennis competition of the country will close on Friday.

Except for Aisamul Haq, all the leading men and ladies players will be featuring in the championship.

The draw of the competition in each event will be 32 players, 20 players shall be accepted in the main draw. Four wild card entries and eight players will be inducted in the main draw.

All the players whose national ranking is below 20 must check their draw status at the tournament site on Friday at 7.30pm.

The qualifying rounds of under-15, 17 and men’s singles will be contested from Sunday.—APP
