Shujaat, Aziz discuss budget

ISLAMABAD, June 15: Pakistan Muslim League president Chaudhry Shujaat on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz at the PM’s parliament house chamber and discussed a host of issues including the budget session. Sources said that Mr Shujaat discussed with Mr Aziz the National Finance Commission Award and Balochistan issue with regard to the implementation of an agreement which he (Shujaat) and Nawab Akbar Bugti had reached.

They also discussed the issue of quorum in the lower house of parliament.

They were satisfied with the overall budget proceedings.

Party affairs also came under discussions.
