PESHAWAR, June 15: The political administration in Khyber Agency has failed to arrest six accused who have taken refuge in Bara tehsil after a rocket attack on a house in Pakha Ghulam village, on the outskirts of the city, a few days ago. Jalal Khan, son of Haji Nasrullah Khan, had registered an FIR with the Faqirabad police station last Wednesday stating that they went off to sleep on the night of May 8 when a gang of outlaws fired rockets at his home in the Pakha Ghulam village.

He accused six people for the rocket attack: Yousuf, Atlas, Abdul Ghafoor, Manzoor, Zahoor and Iftikhar, all permanent residents of Pakha Ghulam but now residing in Mera Sheikhan.

“They are all proclaimed offenders who are now also wanted in the rocket attack case, but they have taken refuge in Bara tehsil where only political authorities can arrest them,” said the sub-inspector (investigation) of Faqirabad police station, Miskeen Khan.

He said that so far no progress had been made by the political administration.
