TOBA TEK SINGH: Over a dozen suspected dacoits stole animals worth Rs5 million from two dairy farms in the wee hours.

Farm owner Ijaz Nazir of Chak 318-JB informed Saddar police that he and his cousins owned two dairy farms adjacent to each other in Chak 319-JB on Toba-Faisalabad road. He said 16 armed men arrived on two trucks before midnight, tied him up and his brother Arsalan, overpowered his two cousins and employees and tortured them.

The suspects then took away their 40 buffaloes, cows and calves as well as two rifles, a motorcycle and mobile phones. He alleged that patrolling police remained unaware of the incident for at least four hours.
