ISLAMABAD: The new government has notified fresh transfers and postings in the top bureaucracy.

Despite reports that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf government was planning to abolish the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD), Aurangzeb Haque, a grade-22 officer of Pakistan Adminis­tra­tive Services (PAS), has been app­ointed its secretary in place of Saqib Aziz, another grade-22 PAS officer, who has been made secretary aviation.

Mr Haque was awaiting posting in the establishment division.

Over two dozen grade 21 and 22 officers transferred

Jamal Yousaf, who was awaiting posting in the establishment division, has been made officer on special duty.

Postal services secretary Hamid Haroon, a grade-22 officer of the military lands and cantonments group, and Khizar Hayat Khan, a grade-22 officer of PAS, have been directed to report to the establishment division.

Fazal Abbas, a grade-22 PAS officer who was national food security secretary, has been made cabinet division secretary. Dr Mohammad Hashim Popalzai, a grade-22 officer of the secretariat group who served as secretary of overseas Pakistanis and human resource development, has been posted as secretary of national food security.

Mohammad Jalal Sikander Sultan, a grade-22 officer of PAS, has been posted as secretary of states and frontier regions division.

Mian Asad Hayud Din, a grade-21 PAS officer who had been made an OSD in the establishment division, has been transferred to the petroleum division as its additional secretary.

Dr Ijaz Munir, a grade-22 PAS officer who was aviation secretary, has been made establishment division secretary.

Chaudhry Mubarak Ali, a grade-21 officer of the secretariat group, has been directed to report to the establishment division. He was serving as managing director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan.

Ms Sarwat Tahira Habib, a grade-22 officer of the Pakistan Custom Services who was FBR’s member customs, has been appointed as secretary of Federal Tax Ombudsman.

Azhar Ali Chaudhry, a grade-22 officer of the commerce and trade group who had been an OSD in the establishment division, has been posted as textile secretary.

Khalid Masood Chaudhry, a grade-22 officer of PAS who was religious affairs secretary, has been made industries secretary.

Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, a grade-22 PAS officer who served as planning secretary, has been posted as communications secretary.

Muhammad Ashraf, a grade-22 officer of PAS, has been made parliamentary affairs secretary. He was a senior member of federal land commission.

Jamil Ahmed, a grade-22 PAS officer who served as secretary of Federal Tax Ombudsman, has been made inter-provincial coordination secretary.

Ms Rabiya Javeri Agha, a grade-22 PAS officer who was working as human rights division secretary, has been posted as climate change secretary.

Pir Bakhsh Khan Jamali, a grade-22 of PAS who was waiting for posting in the establishment division, has been made postal services secretary.

Aamir Ashraf Khawaja, a grade-22 PAS officer who was IT and telecommunication secretary, has been made maritime affairs secretary.

Mumtaz Ali Shah, a grade-22 PAS officer who was maritime affairs secretary, has been made religious affairs secretary.

Retired Capt Jahanzeb Khan, a grade-22 PAS officer who was inter-provincial coordination secretary, has been appointed managing director of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan.

Furqan Bahadur Khan, a grade-22 PAS officer who served as communications secretary, has been directed to report to the establishment division.

Retired Sqn Ldr Shahrukh Nusrat, a grade-22 PAS officer who was textile industry secretary, has been directed to report to the establishment division.

Maroof Afzal, a grade-22 PAS officer who was industries secretary, has also been directed to report the establishment division.

Zafar Hasan, a grade-21 PAS officer who was additional secretary of finance division, has been posted as additional secretary of planning.

Mohammad Asif, a grade-21 PAS officer who was director general of Federal Tax Ombudsman, has been made additional secretary of overseas Pakistanis human resource development.

Shed Tahir Raza Naqvi, a grade-21 PAS officer who was parliamentary affairs additional secretary, has been directed to report to the establishment division.
