QUETTA, June 10: The Balochistan Unemployed Agriculture Graduates Association on Friday criticized the postponement of interviews for appointments in the water management project.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club, the association’s representatives claimed that 1,400 candidates from different areas in the province had arrived here for the interviews scheduled for Friday but the selection committee refused to take interviews on the pretext its members were busy.

They said posts of grades 16 and 17 were advertised in newspapers and it was notified that the interviews would be held on Friday.

They said the candidates occupied the building in protest when the selection committee’s members refused to hold the interviews.

They said representatives of the protesting candidates were invited by committee to resolve the issue after the occupation but the talks remained fruitless because of after they termed irresponsible behaviour of Balochistan Health Minister Hafiz Hamadullah.

They said the association would react strongly if the laid down procedure was violated during the selection.
