Faisalabad head for big victory

LAHORE, Jan 9: Hyderabad were heading for a massive defeat against Faisalabad on the second day of their  Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad Wednesday.

According to details available here, Hyderabad, who made just 98 in their first innings, limped to 4 for one after conceding a lead of 387.

The home team declared their first innings at a formidable 485 for eight after resuming the day on 207 for two with Saadat Gul and Zahoor Elahi hitting centuries.

Zahoor added seven to Tuesday’s score of 99 while Saadat Gul remained undefeated with 120.
