Trump says US market would 'crash' if he were impeached

President Donald Trump said in an interview aired on Thursday that the US economy would collapse if he were impeached.

"I will tell you what, if I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash. I think everybody would be very poor, because without this thinking, you would see — you would see numbers that you wouldn't believe in reverse," Trump told the program Fox and Friends.

Trump was responding to a question on his mounting legal woes after his former attorney Michael Cohen said under oath that Trump instructed him to commit a felony by breaking US campaign finance laws.

The US president then launched into a rambling statement on job creation and other economic progress he said had been made during his presidency and insisted Americans would be much worse off if Hillary Clinton had won the 2016 election.

"I don't know how you can impeach somebody who has done a great job," Trump said.

I pray for the US. For all our sake, since the US economy effects us all greatly. And we have had enough experience of people who suggest that the future of the country is linked to them. In case of every single one of them, their loyalty to the country could shaky at best, and them having the highest office, the biggest blunder of the system. Such suggestions, at least our national experience in Pakistan, are more akin to threatening the nation, and masked treason. Sure the markets are always scared of uncertainty, but using this matter to prevent justice destroys the very basic fabric of a country.

So he still thinks he has done a great job. Yes, a great job in the most unspeakable way. The stock market effect should not be a reason not to impeach. He created reasons for impeachment and that cannot be blamed on his opponents. Shame, he has no friends in EU, Canada, the UK and more having walked away from international agreements rendering the USA as unreliable. So music he must face.

President Trump says if he was impeached the market would crash? That's blackmailing the people of America. No politician in the US or the world is indispensable. He has violated election laws and committed other crimes, even paid hush money to women to keep quiet about sleazy affairs. He has lied to the nation. He must be impeached as the rule of law must prevail in America. President Clinton was almost impeached for his Monika Lewinsky affair. If Donald Trump is impeached not only the markets would do better but America would stand tall and be respected in the world.

Regarding the market, it has ignored all his stupidities and sanctions against other countries and keep on climbing and is sitting at historical all times high. My view is that with strong economy due to lower interest rates and companies making strong revenue and earning and massive buyback program the market is going to go higher if he is impeached, because his atrocious behavior at present is holding the market from flying higher.

Trump will do anything to stay in contact the news . It’s like all publicity is good publicity and America gets great living room entertainment. The truth is he has been pretty good for the US economy and unprecedented market returns with the stagnated US economy coming back to 4% growth rate and massively popular tax cuts with lowest employment rates . No one likes to give credit to Trump for the economy but he definitely deserves some . His extreme volatility had made the competition weary and he is threatening China , cajoling Russia , questioning NATO contributions from EU , which no US president would have considered ever as possible . It’s easy to say his policy makes no sense but hard to argue against the results . Kudos to India for managing him better than the Germans and Canadian and Brits.
