Chinese police chief calls on General Bajwa

Commander Chinese People’s Armed Police Force General Wang Ning on Monday called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, the military's media wing said.

During the meeting, which took place at the General Headquarters, matters related to regional security and professional interest were discussed, read a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

According to the ISPR, General Ning acknowledged and appreciated the military's contributions for peace and stability in the region.

He also discussed ways to increase bilateral cooperation in the fields of counter-terrorism and security training.
