ATTOCK: MNA-elect of PTI Tahir Sadiq, who won two national and one provincial assembly seats, has decided to keep NA-55 and vacate NA-56 and PP-3.

A source said Mr Sadiq wanted to field his son Mohammad Zain Ilahi or son-in-law Waseem Gulzar in the by-election for NA-56.

However, former federal minister Malik Ameen Aslam, another PTI leader from Attock, said before the election it had been decided that Mr Sadiq would vacate NA-55 for him. Talking to Dawn, Mr Aslam said Mr Sadiq should keep his promise by letting him run for NA-55 in the by-election.
