SWABI: The elder brother of Nishan-i-Haider recipient, Captain Karnal Sher Khan, on Saturday declined Pakhtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Manzoor Pashteen permission to visit the grave of the martyr.

A video went viral on social media in which Anwar Sher is seen asking the PTM leaders not to visit his brother’s grave in Karnal Sher Khan village along Swabi-Mardan road. When contacted by Dawn, another brother of the martyred captain said: “Lala (elder brother) told him straight that you (Pashteen) have been speaking against Pakistan and its institutions.”

Meanwhile, a day before a scheduled rally of the PTM in Swabi, posters inscribed with slogans, such as ‘Manzoor Namanzoor’, appeared in the district headquarters’ main bazaar.
