KARACHI: 32 teachers promoted

KARACHI, June 7: The Federal Urdu University Syndicate approved 32 promotions of its teachers, in a meeting held here on Tuesday. The teachers who were promoted included 22 lecturers, 9 assistant professors and one associate professor. The meeting also discussed the promotions of arts faculty teachers.

The syndicate also discussed about the new appointments, and other matters related to the science and arts faculties.

On this occasion the vice-chancellor said in spite of unfavourable conditions they were trying their best to solve the problems of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the varsity.

Dr SM Hassan of the Islamabad campus, the dean of science faculty, Prof Mohammad Saeed, the dean of arts faculty, Prof Rana Halal, and others were also present. — PPI
