KARACHI: Advani leaves for home

KARACHI, June 6: The Indian opposition leader, L. K. Advani, left for New Delhi on Monday after a week-long visit to Pakistan. At the Quaid-i-Azam International Airport, Mr Advani, who was accompanied by his wife, son and daughter-in-law, was given a warm send off.

During his stay, Mr Advani visited Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.

Besides holding meetings with President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Mr Advani met various prominent political and social figures, besides visiting places of historic and religious importance.—APP
