KARACHI, June 6: An accident and emergency centre along with a special block will be constructed adjacent to the Civil Hospital at a cost of Rs1,500 million in two and half years to provide better medical facilities to government employees of Sindh and their families.
Approval to the project was given at an important meeting held by the Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan, said Sindh Health Adviser Faisal Malik while talking to people visiting his office here on Monday.
He informed that emergency centre and special block would consist of 100 rooms having modern medical facilities where expert doctors and professors in different fields would provide high standard medical facilities to officials of the Sindh government.
The adviser pointed out that the provincial government had already given approval to the project under the Public Sector Development Programme and the health department would soon start work on this project.—APP
