KARACHI, June 6: Seven ships carrying coal, containers and to load ethanol are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

Four ships including Barge AKN-100 to offload general cargo, Al-Jazy, World Glory to unload steel and Bunga Terasek to unload and load containers were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships, which sailed out included Oldendroff, Global Princess, and Unnefa, while Celtic, Al-Jazy, Barge AKN-100 and Thor Capitan are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 52,291 tons comprising 10,562 tons of export cargo including 2,460 tons of rice and 41,729 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Nur Yanbu, with chemicals, APL Cairo, Maersk Alaska, Tai He, Asian Trader, and Orient Prosperity, with containers and Joviality, with 39,235 tons of coal.
