SHEIKHUPURA, June 5: A man died and another sustained severe injuries in an explosion at a fireworks shop at Sharaqpur on Sunday. Reports said that Riaz, the owner of the shop, died when the material used in the making of fireworks exploded. A worker Riaz, son of Allaha Rakha, who sustained serious burn injuries in the incident was admitted to a hospital.
SHOT DEAD: A woman was allegedly shot dead by her brother over suspicion of having an affair in Mangtanwala.
Reports said one Arif suspected that his sister Haleema Bibi, 28, had illicit relations with someone. In a fit of anger, he shot her dead and escaped.
